SCHOLARSHIPS

Each year District 47 is excited to offer a $250 scholarship in each category (Financial Need, Merit, and Member only).  Applications are available online or in school counselors’ offices.  They are always due on April 15^th each year. 

2009 Scholarship Award Winners

Merit Scholarship – Kathleen Petermann, daughter of Mark Petermann, who works for NCDENR DWM-UST.

Member Only – Claudia Powell, who works for NCDENR, DPPEA.

Financial Need – No applications were submitted for this category.  

The winners have been forward for judging in the statewide scholarship awards.
